NOMADS invited to blue plaque unveiling

Following the success of the nomads production of The Shadow factory, Spitfire Makers Charitable Trust invited Nomads to attend the unveiling of the blue plaque. The chair of nomads and the director both attended.

The Spitfire Makers Charitable Trust honors the legacy of the Spitfire and its makers through memorials, historical preservation, and public education. Each blue plaque is given out to honour and commemorate the involvement in the development of the spitfire during world war II.

A ‘honk’-tastic time at Mother Goose🪿🥚

On Saturday 14th December the NOMADS lot were out and about in Winchester enjoying some dinner and a pantomime! Everyone was left with ‘goose’bumps of joy after watching Mother Goose at the theatre royal. The cast and crew were all fantastic.

An extra thank you to the lovely staff at Wagamama, Winchester for being so accommodating.

NOMADS spreading Christmas magic at Durban house care home.🎄

NOMADS, a singing crew,
Went to Durban House, it’s true.
They sang songs, loud and clear,
Filled hearts with joy, year by year. ❤️

The old folks smiled, their eyes so bright,
NOMADS’ singing, a wonderful sight.
With jingle bells and Santa hats,
They spread cheer, on winter’s mats. 🎅

Merry Christmas 🎄

Spreading Christmas Cheer with NOMADS of Romsey

Spreading Christmas Cheer with NOMADS of Romsey

This Saturday, December 7th, the NOMADS of Romsey will be spreading some festive joy by visiting a local care home. We’ll be donning our most cheerful Christmas jumpers and singing a selection of Christmas carols and songs to bring a bit of holiday cheer to the residents.

We believe that music has the power to uplift spirits and bring people together, especially during the holiday season. By sharing our love of singing with the residents, we hope to brighten their day and create some lasting memories.

If you’re interested in joining us on future community outreach events, please get in touch with us. We always welcome new members. Let’s continue to spread joy and make a positive impact on our community together!

The Magic of Oz Supports Local Causes!

The Magic of Oz Supports Local Causes!

We at NOMADS are gearing up for another fantastic production, this year bringing the beloved classic, “The Wizard of Oz,” to life! But the magic doesn’t stop on stage. We’re thrilled to announce that our pantomime performances will be raising funds for two incredible local charities: Romsey Young Carers (RYC) and Romsey Family Support Group (RFSG).

Both charities provide vital support to young people and families facing a variety of challenges.

Here’s how you can support:

Collection buckets: We’ll have collection buckets available at the end of each performance.

Please give anything you can to help support these wonderful charities.
